I’ve joined the mini Write Campaign over at Rachel Harrie’s blog.
You should too.
Why? I’m glad you asked…because as writers we spend a lot of time alone, in our heads, sometimes doing quite dastardly things. A little company is good. Companionship reminds us that we don’t live in a tower at the top of the precipice. It only feels that way.
Besides this is Valentine’s Day, time to spread some love…uh…you know what I mean. Hand out the romance. Do some sweeping. Whatever.
If you jump on the platform campaign you get to visit the blogs of lots of other writers. That means you’ll find new books to read, new authors to admire, and lots of discussion about the craziness that infuses our heads. You can also hop over to twitter and visit hashtag #writecampaign for energizing chatter.
Don’t forget, there’ll be two challenges in this round. Good times. These will be opportunities to put our writerly bits to work and share with others. C’mon, it’ll be fun!
If you don’t join, there’ll be NO chocolate for you. None. Zip. Nada. Zilch. The big goose egg of chocolatey goodness will not land in your lap. Neither will diamond shiny-shiny things from your honey, or multi-book deals from Penguin, or huge advance payments from Amazon for your next series.
I’m only the messenger – don’t aim that thing at me.
