Cathedral Window Quilts

I started quilting because I wanted a form of handwork that produced fast results. That may sound off, but by comparison to beadwork, quilting offers instant gratification. I also love the fact that the finished product is something functional.
Antique quilts offer a glimpse into times past which also appeals to me. I’m fortunate enough to have several quilts made by my great grandmother. Try making one…it’s fun. There’s nothing better than a snuggly soft pile of quilted cotton on a cold night.
