That adage about a picture being worth a 1,000 words sometimes rings true.
I chose this photograph to close out the year. If you’re a bit frazzled by the hectic season and the lengthy trudge through 2011, the sensation it evokes might feel familiar. There is nothing like the grandeur of nature to make us know our insignificance and irrelevancy.
Enjoy the weekend. Go make a memory but don’t get too close to the edge.

That’s a beautiful photograph! And, I love the changes you’ve made to your blog. (How late am I in noticing?)
Happy New Year, Lesann!

Happy New Year Bridgette!
Isn’t that photo crazy? …at least the man on the ledge is nuts. Thanks for the blog love – I’m learning my way around wordpress. A much bigger learning curve than Blogger, but it’s happening. It’s never too late to notice the updo!

Love the new blog, Lesann! Very sleek.
You would never catch me anywhere near a physical edge like that. I was even terrified to peek into the Grand Canyon. However, it’s an apt metaphorical picture for what 2012 looks to me!

Thanks Angela!
My knees get the wobbles every time I look at that photo. Crazy dude! Even when I convince myself that it’s part optical illusion, my central nervous system doesn’t care. Thanks for visiting!
