For those of you who may not know, a blue moon generally refers to the intersection of a second full moon within a single calendar month. Using the Old Farmers’ Almanac, a blue moon is the third full moon in a season of four full moons. With this definition, the next official blue moons will occur on August 21, 2013 and May 21, 2016. My Blogroll Round-ups are as rare as a blue moon, so it seems logical to post one on the fifth Saturday of the month. Though many months offer five weeks, only a handful have five Saturdays which makes the association sufficiently uncommon enough to qualify, at least for me.
I enjoy the roundups scattered with regular abandon out there in the blogosphere but I’m not a regular contributor. I get sidetracked too easily and wind up making posts about rubbish and nonsense.
Well NOT today.
This post is about some of the amazing people I’ve met as a result of blogging and interacting in social media. There is no way to give credence to all of them, so I’m starting with a handful and we’ll continue that way.
Now, having established on previous occasions that I am both a lurker and not much of a socializer, these people continuously provide amazing support and encouragement with regular visits. I appreciate that.
