You might be surprised by how many of these locations are familiar. We’ve become accustomed to seeing archaeological sites and prehistoric architecture in films and advertising. If you’ve never given it much thought, consider planning a themed vacation to explore some of the ancient world’s many wonders. The internet puts the past literally at our fingertips and there’s a lot to learn before you visit – you don’t want to find out later you missed the most amazing thing because you turned left at the palazzo instead of right.
Have you ever missed a fabulous sight because you got lost, went the wrong direction, or simply didn’t know it was there? How about one of those trips where you saw nothing interesting but everyone else who’s been said it was life-changing? Where is your dream destination? Tell us…we really want to know.
